The Hometown Food Security Project and Hormel Foods are teaming up to raise awareness about food access-both locally and globally.
The work of Austin Public School students will be showcased demonstrating their understanding and learning about food insecurity both here at home and around the world.
Through this reception, we will raise funds to support youth nutrition services in Mower County. Access to proper nutrition is not just about health; it’s a critical foundation for learning, development and academic success. By coming together, we can help foster a brighter future for our youth, underscored by the strength of community support.
Let’s celebrate the power of creativity and collaboration in improving food access and nutrition for the next generation of changemakers.
Welcome Remarks by Jim and Tammy Snee
